Christoph Tannert

Short Bio

Christoph Tannert (*1955) is an exhibition organizer and author. He has been the director of Künstlerhaus Bethanien Berlin since 2000. He has curated various photography exhibitions and photo festivals, has been involved in reviewing several times, and is a member of the editorial advisory board of EUROPEAN PHOTOGRAPHY.

Curatorial Statement:

'With my image research, I wanted to challenge my judgment and question it by poaching in different areas at the same time. The final image selection unintentionally develops an associative flow with which I do not associate an aesthetic decision, but an awareness of finitude.'
