Reverse Portfolio Walk | Uschi Groos x Jörg Gläscher

Monday 21.November, 8 PM (CET) on Zoom and Facebook LIVE

The Reverse Portfolio Walk:Finalists of the Portfolio Walk discuss the portfolio of a DFA member in a Zoom Talk. The DFA member discusses the work of the young talent. This leads to a dialogue between the young talent and the DFA member.

  • This time with Uschi Groos and Jörg Gläscher (DFA): On "counted visual languages," leaving the documentary behind, and moving toward the sculptural. Why the photos of destroyed tanks lack the human element, and why a stamped telephone book is a work about the Ukraine war. Whether the photo, action or object is the final product of artistic work? Why man in the timeline of the Earth is only a temporary phenomenon, and what it is like to be buried alive under an avalanche of snow.

  • Host: Thekla Ehling
