OPEN CALL | Transparent Portfolio Review

We make portfolio reviews transparent - and comparable.

Portfolio reviews are usually a one-on-one affair that takes place exclusively between the reviewer and the photographer.

Until now - in our new Zoom online format, 3 experts review one and the same portfolio, one after the other, without knowing what the others have said before. And a pre-registered audience watches and discusses with us the differences in the evaluation.

For this new format, the DFA and our partner OFF//FOTO are looking for photographers with an artistic portfolio who would like to show their work to our experts and the audience - for free.

How does the application work?

  • We need a project text (maximum 1000 characters), a short biography (500 characters) and 20 image samples.
  • Please send the material with the subject "Transparent Portfolio Review / Open Call" to webmaster (at) dfa.photography.
  • Deadline: November 15, 2022
