Jürgen Scriba: Die Korrosion der Wirklichkeit. Wie generative KI die Realität zersetzt. (The Corrosion of Reality. How generative AI erodes reality). Article in "Politik und Kultur", No. 9/2023

Already at the beginning of 2023, DFA member Jürgen Scriba had dedicated himself experimentally researching the effects of AI on reality and the transmission of knowledge, presenting this at www.wirsing.info.

The former science journalist has published the assessment of his findings on the "corrosion of reality" not only in the relevant daily press, but now also in the German Cultural Council's newspaper "Politik und Kultur".

The new addition of the digitised version of this article to the Documents archive marks a coincidence in time with the admission of the German Photo Council to the German Cultural Council. Scriba heads the Fotorat working group on "Technical Progress", which, given the occasion, is concerned with AI systems.
