Who was the photographer Erich Böhm?

In my search for an archive item for the month of July 2022, I came across this piece of writing by Erich Böhm from July 1965.

Yes, those sometimes tedious but indispensable membership affairs....

The name Erich Böhm, despite the relevant references in his letter such as address details, field of activity and start of membership, has so far remained in the darkroom of DFA photo research.

This much could be ascertained from the DFA's own sources so far: Erich Böhm was born on 23.3.1896. The GDL membership lists of 1932 and 1936 list his address in Cottbus / Niederlausitz.

And then they left him.
