Adolf Clemens, GDL/DFA member since 1972, died on July 15, 2021. The DFA remembered its long-time member with an obituary. Clemens studied with Otto Steinert at the Folkwang School of Design in Essen in the 1960s. His heirs have now graciously donated Clemens' thesis to the DFA document archive: “Photography in the Third Reich. Press photography in the service of political propaganda,” filed on July 15, 1966. The written part of the work (bound, DIN A4, 107 pages) and an extensive picture part (loose-leaf collection, DIN A4, 105 pages) are brought together in a slipcase.
