How do you capture the elusive? On May 23, the Atelier für Alle invites to a group exhibition by the German Photographic Academy (DFA). Under the title Erscheinung (Appearance), twenty artists present works that approach the fleeting yet visible.

Hardly any medium is as closely connected to this magic as photography: the spectrum ranges from the traditional analogue darkroom to site-specific installations and AI-generated images. The show runs parallel to Frances Scholz’s solo exhibition in the main building—both merging into an inspiring dialogue about perception, illusion, and conscious seeing.
