Invitation to the 19th Live Portfolio Walk of the DFA
Saturday, 2 December 2023, 6pm - 9pm at the Deichtorhallen Hamburg.

The German Photographic Academy is organising its 19th Live Portfolio Walk on 2 December 2023 as part of the DFA Winter Conference at the Deichtorhallen Hamburg. The Portfolio Walk has increasingly become an important programme item of the DFA conferences, as it gives many newcomers the opportunity to present photographic portfolios to a wide audience and to receive helpful comments and advice from experts in practice and theory. Image and text material can be submitted until 5 November to apply for participation in the Portfolio Walk. The 10 selected photographers will present their images on Saturday, 2 December 2023 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Deichtorhallen Hamburg, where they will each have a table at their disposal.

Venue of the Portfolio Walk:
As the "House of Photography" is currently being renovated, the Portfolio Walk will take place in the second building of the Deichtorhallen, the "Hall for Contemporary Art" opposite, Deichtorstr. 1-2, Hamburg.
